By canceling London-Edinburgh-London, we would like to offer randonneurs the chance to complete another Superbrevet this year to earn special medals. The route follows the Elbe to Dresden in the first half and then turns west. It passes through the Leipzig Lake District to the Saale, along the Unstrut and the southern and western edges of the Harz Mountains, and then back north. It then passes through the heathland back to Hamburg.
