Checking your results

Every BRM you finish is sent to Audax Club Parisien (ACP) in France, which gives it a homologation number: the official record that you rode it. Some organisers email the numbers out when they come back, but not all do, and you don't have to wait for them. You can look up every homologated ride yourself in a free ACP rider account. This page shows you how, step by step.

Why the number matters

The homologation number is the proof that a ride counts. You'll need it when you:

It's worth setting up the account even if none of that is on your mind yet. It keeps an official list of every BRM you've ridden, in one place, for as long as you ride.

How a ride gets its number

  1. You finish the ride inside the time limit.
  2. The organiser checks everyone's proof of passage: the WhatsApp photos, receipts or brevet cards.
  3. The organiser sends the list of finishers to ACP.
  4. ACP processes the results and gives each finisher on each ride a homologation number.

Each step takes time, so don't worry if a ride from last weekend isn't there yet. A few weeks is normal.

Step 1: create your ACP account

You only do this once.

  1. Go to myaccount.audax-club-parisien.com. If the page is in French, switch the flag at the top right to English.
  2. Select Sign in at the top right, then Create an account under the sign-in form. You can also sign in with Google, Facebook or Twitter instead of making a password.
  3. Fill in Email and Email confirmation, then Password and Password confirmation.
  4. For Current Federation, choose Non French. The other options (FFCT, UFOLEP, FSGT) are French federations. A Cycling Ireland licence counts as non-French.
  5. Tick I accept the General Data Protection Regulations and select Registration.
  6. Sign in with your new account.

Step 2: add your clubs

ACP files each result under a club, so your account needs every club your BRMs could be filed under. Without them, your results won't show. Irish BRMs are filed under one of three ACP clubs, depending on whether you were an Audax Ireland member at the time. Add all three, so rides from before and after you joined both come through.

  1. Open My Account and add a club.
  2. Set Country to IE - IRLAND.
  3. Choose the club, check its Code ACP against the table below, and leave Internal code (Optional) blank.
  4. Repeat for the other two.
Name of the clubCode ACP
AUDAX IRLANDE CCIE015000
Independent IrelandIE015099
Cycling Ireland IndIE015260

If you've ridden BRMs in the UK, add Audax UK too, so those rides are linked to your account.

From the road: Results don't appear the moment you add a club. They can take a day or so to come through, and they arrive in dribs and drabs rather than all at once. Give it a couple of days before you go looking for a missing ride.

Step 3: find your results

  1. Sign in and go to My Results, then BRM.
  2. Your rides are listed by distance, under headings such as BRM 200, BRM 300 and BRM 600.
  3. Each row shows the homologation number, the date of the ride and your finishing time. Match a row to your ride by its date and distance.

If a ride is missing

  • Give it time. Results arrive in batches, after the organiser has sent them and ACP has processed them. A few weeks is normal.
  • Check your clubs. Make sure all three Irish clubs are in My Account. If you've just added one, give it a day or two.
  • Ask the organiser. If a ride still hasn't appeared after a couple of months, contact the organiser. They can check that you were on the list they sent.
  • Check the ride type. Only BRMs appear here. Irish permanents aren't homologated by ACP, so they won't be listed.

Rides of 1,200 km and longer

Events of 1,200 km or more, such as London-Edinburgh-London, are generally homologated by Les Randonneurs Mondiaux (LRM), not by ACP. They won't appear under My Results → BRM. Look them up in the LRM results database, where you can search by rider name, year, country, distance or event.

Adding the numbers to the tracker

In the tracker, a completed BRM without its number shows an orange missing # badge. It still counts towards your awards in the meantime.

Once your past rides are in the tracker, you don't need to type the numbers in one by one. Fill them all at once:

  1. In the tracker, open Settings, find ACP homologations and select Start import.
  2. In your ACP account, open My Results → BRM, select everything on the page and copy it.
  3. Paste it into the importer. It matches each result to one of your rides by date and distance.
  4. Check each suggested match, then import the ones that are right.

This is the quickest way to fill in your history when you first sign up, and worth repeating whenever new results come through. For a single ride, edit it and add the number on the Additional Info step. The Managing your rides help covers both in detail.
