Brevet Hiberniae
The Brevet Hiberniae section in the tracker lets you browse all 128 locations, upload proof photos, and track your progress toward province medals. For background on the challenge itself, see the Brevet Hiberniae guide.
Choose a View
Use Map and List to find locations, Journey to review your visits, and Checker to see which locations are close to a route. The same four views are available from the tabs on desktop and the navigation bar on mobile.
Map
The map shows all 128 locations as pins. Select a pin to see the landmark name, county, and whether you have visited it. From the pin, select View details to open the landmark or Next to move to the next one. You can also expand the map to fullscreen.
Select a pin to identify the landmark, then open its details or move to the next location.
If you have set a home province in Settings, the map starts there. Once you have recorded a visit, it opens near your next unvisited location.
From the road: Zoom into an area to plan a ride that visits several nearby locations.
List
The list groups locations by province and county. Progress bars and visit counts show what you have completed. Expand a province and county to browse its locations, or search for a county or landmark by name. Select any location to open its details.
The List view with collapsible provinces and progress bars.
Record a Visit
Open a landmark from Map or List to see its location and description. Select View on Map if you opened it from the list and want to see where it is. You can also suggest a correction if the location information needs attention.
The landmark page shows its location, description, and the actions available to you.
To record the visit, add a JPEG or PNG proof photo up to 10 MB. The visit date may be filled from the photo automatically. You can change it, provided it is not in the future, and add optional notes. Record Visit becomes available after you choose a valid photo.
Add a proof photo, check the visit date, and add any optional notes before recording the visit.
To correct a recorded visit, open the landmark, select Cancel visit, then record it again with the right photo or date. Cancelling deletes the visit and its photo. A visit cannot be cancelled after you have submitted a medal claim for its province.
Follow Your Journey
Journey records your visits in date order and marks county, province, and overall completion milestones as you progress.
The Journey timeline records completion and milestone cards alongside your dated visits.
Dated visit entries show the locations you recorded and their proof photos. Select a proof photo to view it at a larger size when one is available.
Review the locations and available proof photos recorded for each visit date.
Check a Route
Use Checker to find landmarks near a route. Select a catalogue event or permanent with an available GPX route, or upload your own GPX file. Then choose how close a landmark must be to the route using the 1, 2, 5, or 10 km radius options.
Choose a catalogue route or GPX file, then set the distance to search around it.
After the route is loaded, the results show every landmark within the selected distance and whether you have already visited it. On desktop, the map and results appear together. On mobile, select View on map to open the route map. The results drawer can be expanded or collapsed while you inspect the route. The mobile screenshot shows the map with the results drawer expanded.
Each result shows its distance from the route and whether you have already visited it.
