Tips & Tricks
A few things that are easy to miss but worth knowing about. These can save you time and help you get more out of the tracker.
One Ride, Many Awards
You do not need to assign rides to specific awards. The tracker does it automatically. A single completed ride can count toward multiple awards at the same time. For example, a 300 km BRM in Munster could contribute to Super Randonneur, ACP 5000, RRTY, and 4 Provinces all at once. Every time you add or update a ride, the system re-evaluates everything.
Plan Your Season with Projections
Add planned rides for the events you are eyeing, then turn on the projection toggle on the Progress page. Every award card updates to include planned rides and rides awaiting confirmation. If the numbers do not add up, you know you need to find another event. It is the quickest way to check whether your planned season actually gets you to the finish line.

Use Name Settings to Control Your Review
Most Ride and Gravel Ride activities of 30 km or more appear automatically. If an activity is missing, open Name settings on the import page or the Strava Import section in Settings, then add a word or phrase from its Strava title as a title hint. A hint makes matching activities appear in the review at any distance. It does not choose or improve the event, permanent, or existing ride suggested for them.
The activity name is the main matching signal. The tracker also checks known aliases, the calendar year and date, and whether the recorded distance is plausible when a title is vague. Normal GPS differences are allowed, so a 199 km recording can still match a 200 km ride. Very short activities are not suggested just because one word overlaps. Uncertain choices appear under Questions for you to decide.
To hide new activities you do not want to review, add a word or phrase to Skip phrases. A skip phrase wins if the same title also contains a hint. Activities already linked to the tracker remain visible under Other activities so an incorrect link can be corrected.
Link Strava Activities After the Fact
You do not have to import from Strava to connect an activity to a ride. If you added a ride manually and later want to link the Strava activity, you can do it from the Strava Import page. Search for the year and open the activity. When a suitable unlinked ride is available, choose "Add to an existing ride" and select it. If the activity is already linked to the wrong ride, find it under Other activities and choose "Move to another ride". This is handy if you added rides before setting up Strava, or if the automatic matching picked the wrong ride. See the Strava Import guide for more detail.
Import ACP Results in One Go
When ACP publishes the homologation numbers for several BRMs, you do not need to edit every ride individually. Open the ACP homologation importer, paste the results from your ACP account, review the suggested ride matches, and import only the ones you select.
Not sure where to find your results? Audax Ireland's guide to BRMs and checking your results covers ACP account setup, club matching, and where homologation numbers appear.
Province Changes Recalculate Awards
If you change your home province in Settings, the tracker automatically recalculates your 4 Provinces progress. You do not need to edit any rides. This matters because permanents ridden in your home province do not count toward the award, so switching provinces can change which rides qualify.
Colour Themes
You can change the tracker's colour theme in Settings. Classic, Hacker, and Rose are available on all screen sizes, while Midnight is available on larger screens. Each theme also works in dark mode. Your choice is saved in your browser and persists between sessions.
Choose a colour theme near the bottom of Settings.
Choose Your Start Page
If you mainly use the tracker for Brevet Hiberniae, you can skip the rides page entirely. Go to Settings and change the Start page to Brevet Hiberniae. Next time you log in, you will land straight on the BH map instead of the rides list.
Choose your Start page in the Preferences section of Settings.
