Super Randonneur (SR)
The Super Randonneur medal recognises the four BRM distance categories. Qualification for Paris-Brest-Paris uses similar distances but allows longer-for-shorter substitutions within its own qualifying window. To earn the SR medal, you must complete BRM rides of 200, 300, 400, and 600 km within a single season.
At a glance
- Rides that count
- ACP-homologated BRMs only
- Distances
- One each of 200, 300, 400 and 600 km. A longer ride can't replace a shorter one.
- When
- One Audax season, 1 November to 31 October

The tracker accepts a recorded distance up to 5% above the nominal one, so a 208 km ride still counts as a 200.
The order does not matter. You can ride the 600 first and the 200 last if that suits your calendar. Many riders build up through the distances over the season, starting with a 200 in the spring and finishing with a 600 in summer. In PBP years, completing the SR series is mandatory for qualification, so plan your season carefully and have backup events in case of a DNF. See the PBP guide for more on qualifying.
From the road: The tracker records Super Randonneur automatically when you complete all four distances. The achievement appears in Achievements, while Progress moves on to the next disjoint SR series you can build in the same season. No claim form or confirmation is required.
